California S.B. 869 Pending: Sugar Warning Labels for Chain Restaurant Menus

Presented to Governor Newsom on Sept. 4, 2026, the bill would require chain restaurants (20+ locations) to display sugar cube icons and conspicuous warnings on beverages with 50g+ added sugar by Jan. 1, 2029.
