California SB 951 Adds AI-Disclosures to Cal-WARN Layoff Notices

Effective January 1, 2027, SB 951 requires Cal-WARN notices to disclose layoffs caused "in whole or in substantial part" by AI or other automated technology, leaving thresholds, the 60-day notice period, and penalties unchanged.
