Recordkeeper Contracts May Now Count as ERISA Plan Documents

A new alert says a participant request under ERISA Section 104(b)(4) may reach the recordkeeper contract itself, putting 401(k) recordkeeping fee and service terms inside the plan-document disclosure set.
