SEC adopts Rule 12h-6 easing foreign private issuer deregistration

The SEC adopted new Rule 12h-6 on March 27, 2007 (effective June 4, 2007), providing foreign private issuers two pathways to terminate Exchange Act reporting obligations: a 5% U.S. trading volume threshold or the 300 shareholder test.
