CBP Extends Informal Entry Compliance Date for International Mail to Jan. 20, 2027

Customs and Border Protection granted a 90-day extension, moving the compliance date for new informal entry procedures for international mail from Oct. 22, 2026 to Jan. 20, 2027, giving importers and customs brokers more time to adapt.
