Brazil's Amendment 141 Cuts Workweek, Adds Second Paid Rest Day

Brazil's Constitutional Amendment No. 141 phases the workweek from 44 to 40 hours, adds a second paid weekly rest day from December 16, 2026, and exempts some degree-holding, high-earning employees from working-time rules.
