California SB 1050 Adds AI Synthetic Performer Disclosure to False Advertising Law

California has enacted SB 1050, adding a new article to the state's False Advertising Law that, per a Perkins Coie alert, requires disclosure of AI-generated "synthetic performers" used in advertising.
